Do you really 15% of the year has already passed? Even though I have been a little behind on creating this BTS weekly blog post every week I am still going it! I do enjoy looking back through my week and reflecting and seeing what I actually did, what I enjoyed and what I need to work on.
I will tell you I need to work on taking more photos. Not for my clients, but for me! For my family and documenting it. Even though last week was a blur I will say I did go to the gym 3x which is my goal this month, I spend time with family, read & went for my walks. We had some really pretty days so I did spend time on the back porch and my husband got his boat cleaned up and ready for upcoming guide trips with Cats on the Rock.
Monday - I met with my content writer Ashley. She owns Clear View Copy if you are a business owner and need help with writing anything, check her out. My nephew has his 2nd round of playoffs and won so they made it to the championship game. If you are in the Mocksville, NC area you should check out Davie Recreation Center if you are interested in putting your kids in sports & activities.
Tuesday - We went to my nephew's Championship game and although they played an amazing game they ended up losing in the championship game.
Wednesday - This was a jam packed day! I started my morning in the car and had a phone call with Kim with Confetti & Memories Event Planning. If you are in the Kernersville, Winston-Salem NC area and looking for an event planner you should check her out. I remember during that call my husband (ohh I love him!) could not find his keys. So funny story he calls me and you know when you leave the house and then 5-10 minutes later someone from your house calls you, you feel like its super important so even if you are on a call you take the call from family. Well that is what the call was about. He couldn't find his keys so he was asking me to check the car. Spoiler alert: The keys were NOT in the car. I get off the call and get back to Kim and then 10 minuets later he calls again. Still can't find the keys. Then he calls a 3rd time after my call and tells me he found the keys in the trash. That morning my lovely husky got in the trash can and it was all over the kitchen. My husband must have accidentally swooped up the keys while he was picking up all the trash. Oh man! What a morning. Luckily I had a massage literally scheduled right after my 2nd call in between the key fiasco. My second call was between me and two other photographers as we will planning our small business retreat coming up! My massage therapist is Jodi with Sage & Stone. I can NOT recommend her enough. I do not miss my monthly massages. Wednesday was a busy day! I then got home and jumped on a call with Joylyn with The Funk. I am really excited about collaborating with Joylyn! Shortly after I met with Terri who works at Brilliance Benefits Group! I am so thankful for our conversation. She also owns SpinFrogs a pottery shop. This day ended with Maxden and I taking Camden to get a PERM! This was his 2nd one so he was excited because it is going to make his hair even more curly. Laura is my go to girl! You can check out their website here. While Camden was getting his hair did...Maxden and I went to Camel City Coffee close to Thruway shopping center.
Thursday - Thursday I had my health coach call. Always going to shout out my coach Tiffany, you can find more info on her coaching here. Davie County High Bands had a fundraiser for a chicken dinner we participated in, so I picked up dinner and then he headed to Concord area to watch my twin nephews play in their basketball championship. This game concluded our entire family's basketball season!
Friday - Luckily this was not a busy day! I did work of course, walk & go to the gym but other than that...thats all I got.
Saturday - This was such a fun day. I went to my best friend's baby shower. Then when I got home I got ready for a super fun Besties session with two Davie County High School seniors! It was super windy that day but these girls rocked the session.
Sunday - Another fun day. I was invited to Molly Myer's painting party event at Koren Farms in Mocksville, NC. We had such a great time with coffee & lemonade, alpacas, meeting local vendors and we got to paint!
