Which session option should I book?: For seniors who want the full senior photography experience, the Full Session is the perfect choice! This session includes multiple locations and allows for 2-3 outfit changes, making it ideal for showcasing your personality, college gear, and cap & gown in a variety of styles and settings.

If you're looking for something simpler, the Regular Session is a 30-minute option. It’s great for capturing a few personality shots along with some timeless cap & gown photos.

For those who prefer a quick and easy session, the Mini Session offers a 10-minute option. It’s perfect for a few cap & gown shots or capturing a couple of fun, personality-filled moments if cap & gown isn’t your thing.

No matter which session you choose, we’ll create memories that celebrate this exciting milestone in your life!
Where will the photos take place?: Most sessions take place in Mocksville, Clemmons or Winston-Salem, NC. As your photographer, I'll choose the location based on what works best for your session and let you know a few days before the shoot. I carefully select locations to ensure they look great for your photos, as some spots are more photogenic at certain times of the year. Lighting is key, so I want to make sure we’re shooting at a time when the location will have the best natural light.

Senior sessions are all about personalization! If you have a specific location in mind for your senior photos, I’d love to check it out to ensure it’s the perfect spot. Together, we’ll make sure the location and timing align to create stunning, unforgettable senior portraits just for you.
When will we see the photos?: I typically deliver your photos within two weeks, as outlined in my contract, but I often finish editing and send them even sooner! If you’re on a tight timeline and need the photos quickly for graduation or another special event, just let me know. We can discuss your timeline and make sure you have your images when you need them. Your senior portraits are a priority, and I’ll work with you to ensure everything is ready in time!
Can we incorporate props, hobbies, sports gear, or pets?: Absolutely! Incorporating props, hobbies, sports gear, or pets is a fantastic way to make your senior portraits uniquely yours. Whether you want to showcase your love for sports with your uniform and equipment, highlight a favorite hobby like painting or playing an instrument, or include your furry best friend, I’m all in!

Here are a few ideas:

Sports: Bring your jersey, cleats, basketball, or any gear that represents your sport. We can even head to your school field or court for a meaningful backdrop!

Hobbies: If you love art, we can feature your sketchpad or paintbrushes. Musicians can bring their instruments for a creative shot.

Pets: Dogs, cats, or even more unique pets are always welcome! We can create a relaxed and fun environment to include them in your session.

Other props: Consider items that reflect your personality, like books, a favorite hat, or even a vintage car if it’s part of your story.

How do you make shy or nervous seniors feel comfortable during the session?: I totally understand that being in front of the camera can feel a little intimidating, especially if you’re shy or nervous—it’s completely normal! My goal is to create a relaxed, fun environment where you can feel at ease and be yourself.

We’ll start by chatting and getting to know each other so it feels more like hanging out than a formal photo shoot. I’ll guide you through simple, natural poses and offer plenty of encouragement along the way. I also love incorporating your hobbies, favorite places, or even a pet, which can make the session feel more personal and comfortable.

By the end of our time together, you’ll forget the camera is even there, and we’ll have captured some amazing, authentic moments that truly reflect you.
