Best of February: A Month of Meaningful Moments
February may be a quieter month for photography sessions, but it was still filled with beautiful moments, both behind the lens and in my personal and professional life. This month, I had three sessions, but as always, I respect my clients' wishes when they prefer to keep their photos private. While I love sharing the incredible images we create together, I completely understand and honor those requests.
That being said, I’m excited to showcase two of the sessions from February!
An In-Home Newborn Session
There’s something truly special about capturing the quiet, intimate moments of a newborn in their first days at home. One of my sessions this month was a cozy in-home newborn shoot, filled with tender snuggles, tiny fingers, and that brand-new baby sweetness. I love how lifestyle newborn sessions allow families to relax in their own space, creating natural, heartfelt images that tell the story of their growing family.
A Mom and Her Three Boys
This session was full of energy, laughter, and love! There’s nothing quite like the bond between a mother and her children, and this mom and her three boys brought so much joy to our time together. From playful moments to sweet hugs, their love for each other was evident in every frame. These are the kinds of sessions that remind me why I love what I do—capturing connections that families will cherish for years to come.
Beyond sessions, February was a busy month personally and professionally. My family wrapped up basketball season, which meant cheering on my kids and soaking in those final games. I also spent time meeting new connections and fellow business owners, which is always inspiring. Building relationships within the community is something I truly value, and I’m excited for what’s ahead.
As we move into March, I’m looking forward to longer days, warmer weather, and more sessions! If you’re thinking about booking a spring session, now is the perfect time to start planning—I’d love to capture beautiful moments for you and your family.
Here’s to a fantastic March ahead!

Megan
