Weekly BTS Wrap up.
This week has been another week that was anything but normal. I didn't have any shoots because the weather just don't want to cooperate...for shoots or school!
Sunday - I left Sunday for a business retreat! This was a retreat a good friend of mine and I have been planning for a few months now. We are planning on hosting one for other business owners in March! We found a favorite coffee shop, Summit Coffee. I worked on switching my website from Zenfolio to photobiz! This was a huge move in my business. Our family is a huge Buffalo Bills fan so naturally we had to find a good place to watch the game. Yay! They won and are still in the playoffs.
Monday - We had a full day at the retreat. I will share more about our business retreat soon when we open it up to other business owners to attend! We did take a walk to the coffee shop and spent time knocking off a lot on our To Do lists. The coffee shop had overnight oats, and they were so good. I had never had overnight oats before and I am now a fan! Later on at the coffee shop I treated myself to a chai latte....oh so good! At home -- My kids & husband had school closed so they were loving the extended winter break.
Tuesday - We did some content & photos before we left Tuesday. We walked around downtown Mooresville for a little but it as well. I had such a great time at the business retreat, but I was excited to get home & see my family. The kiddos had another day off school!
Wednesday - Finally the snow & ice was melting but not until after a 3 hour delay for school. So that kind of shifted my day around. But I was so happy I was able to meet up with a client, Rhonda the Realtor to plan out her upcoming business shoot! It was such a nice day I went for a walk with my sister. I jumped on a call with my coach right before we headed out for basketball practice that night.
Thursday - Kids finally went back to school, regular time! I met my sister first thing to walk. Then I went to my massage therapist, who I love! If you do not have a massage therapist, please check out Sage & Stone in Mocksville. Before the kiddos got home I was able to jump on a zoom call with a lady who owns iMoves Management and helps businesses with SEO. I am really excited to be working with her. I spent time Thursday evening working more on my website! I also did something Thursday that I am so excited about. I launched my first podcast! I have not publicly announced that, so if you happen to read this...you may be one of the firsts to know! I will do a separate blog post on my podcast soon.
Friday - I do NOT miss my monthly chiropractor appointment at Davie Chiropractic Clinic. I started going in July because I was having a lot of pain in my collar bone area. The pain was debilitating and was frequent. Now I rarely have pain at all, it really has been life changing getting chiropractic adjustments. I never went to a chiropractor before going last year, and now I go monthly to just stay on top of it. I had the opportunity to meet up with Ashley with Peace Purpose & Wellness at Maddie Cakes and Felipa with FotoGenic Photo Booth at Ketchie Creek. While I was at Ketchie Creek I got a Green Protein Smoothie. I had never had that before at Ketchie Creek and it was so good! Highly recommend going to try it.
Saturday - A busy day of basketball. Two of my boys have been sick last week and finally feeling better, but getting back on the basketball court was a little difficult. However, they played so hard! Maxden's team was undefeated and they played a team that was undefeated and they came up short TWO points. Camden's team won by two points! They were both great games. Bayden, my oldest has been working on building his own computer. It is the 2nd one he has built but this one is an upgrade from his current. After the games I met up with some ladies in the health group!
